Ice Breakers are a great way to get everybody thinking in the right direction.

They can be adapted and chosen so they are applicable to your training needs and the theme of the team build. Ice Breakers are a great way to start any team building activity day or event or as an energiser during a conference.

Pick Up Sticks Icebreaker

To engage the team to work as one unit encouraging team cooperation and communication to meet one united goal.

Touch Icebreaker

The aim is to get individuals to begin challenging the rules of this game to find out how to move the ball around the group with optimum speed.

Great for group discussion.

Tangles Icebreaker

The group is tangled together using rope handcuffs and needs to think laterally about how to solve this puzzle and to free themselves from the rest of the team.

This is a great way to begin breaking down barriers at the beginning of a team day and can be very tactile and requires excellent group collaboration.

Paper Tower Icebreaker

This activity encourages the group on a simple engineering project to be resourceful and think big.

Great as an insight to the team dynamics and energy of the team.

Two Truths and a Lie

How well do you know your team? Each person tells two truths and one lie.

Moving around the group every person votes on what is the truth and what is the lie, a really good way of getting to know each other.

Paper Fold

The entire team is given a simple set of instructions to follow.

But who actually reads what they are reading?
